Founded by the late Clive A. Burden in 1966, we sell antique and rare maps, prints and books. We are specialist suppliers to the trade world wide and buy individual items, or large collections. Our antiquarian maps cover the period from incunabula (pre-1500) to the late 1800s. Areas of particular focus are antique maps of the UK and North America. We also carry both topographical and decorative antique prints including botanical, bird and other natural history in addition to Vanity Fair caricatures. Books include rare and antiquarian atlases, plus rare antique illustrated and colour plate works. We exhibit at a number of rare book and antiquarian map Fairs around the world.
